### Join the Dirty Birdz Lacrosse Program!
Based in sunny Orange County, we're excited to announce the launch of our lacrosse program tailored for serious players seeking high-level coaching and a development-first training environment. Our dedicated team of current NCAA coaches and college players will guide our athletes, ensuring they receive top-notch training focused on skill development and growth.

We welcome players from all Southern California communities to join us!
**Tentative Schedule for Fall/Winter Season:**
- **Practices:** Sundays, 2-3 hours of training camp style sessions in Irvine. We’ll accommodate athletes involved in other sports during the fall.
- **Tournaments:**
- ADRLN OC Fall Brawl: November 21–22, Irvine, CA
- BUKU SoCal Showdown: December 12–13, Temecula, CA
- ADRLN The Challenge: January 9–10, Oceanside, CA
- **Note:** The Sandstorm tournament may be optional based on player availability.
**Cost:**
Youth: $2200
High School: $2400
Our promise to families includes:
1. **Limited Roster Size:** We will carry no more than 22-24 players to ensure everyone gets meaningful coaching and playing time.
2. **No Unnecessary Guests:** We’ll only fill roster spots as needed to maintain team integrity and commitment.
3. **Focus on Development:** Our practices will emphasize fundamentals, individual skills, and team concepts.
4. **Honest Communication:** Expect clear updates regarding schedules and player progress.
5. **Positive Environment:** We’ll create a space where players enjoy practice while fostering accountability and competitive spirit.

Colin O'Connor-Director
Colin O’Connor has been coaching at Portola High School Boys Lacrosse since 2024. As the Head Coach for the 2025/26 season, he led the program to its first CIF playoff appearance in school history. He has coached at the youth, high school, and club levels, emphasizing player development, fundamentals, lacrosse IQ, and building confidence.
As a player, Colin attended La Costa Canyon High School, where he won a CIF Championship while earning two US Lacrosse All American selections, Adrenaline All American honors, and three All CIF selections. He went on to play collegiately at Towson University, MD and Concordia University Irvine, CA.
Club Coaching & Playing Experience: Colin played for West Coast Starz throughout his youth where he won multiple National championships. He now coaches with West Coast Starz, helping develop youth and high school players while competing at the National level. He also helps coach the OC Rebels youth program, continuing to mentor and develop the next generation of players.
Colin is passionate about helping players develop their skills, compete at a high level, and reach their full potential both on and off the field.
